Raise Up Valley Culture

Join Red Press Society for the second annual Raiseberry arts and culture gala at the Reach Gallery and Museum. Featuring the talents of local artists, actors, musicians, writers, and culinary creators, Raiseberry is a chance to tap into the Fraser Valley’s rich cultural scene.

On Saturday, June 9 from 7 to 9 PM, come to the Reach Gallery and Museum to see, hear, and sample a range of artistic performances, from live painting to dramatic skits, from musical performances to readings by local authors. While you enjoy the show, enjoy locally made food and drink, snap and share a selfie for a prize at the photo booth, and participate in the silent auction to take home a local experience or work of art. Doors open at 6:30.

Entry is by donation (suggested $5). Advance registration is now open. Find tickets here

Culture you can touch

Raspberry magazine is a source for the latest in Fraser Valley art, culture and community life. Established in June 2016 by a few artsy editors, Raspberry wants to shine a spotlight on what’s happening in the Fraser Valley with a culture-focused gaze. We want to dig our fingers into the rich cultural earth right here in the Valley.

All funds raised at the event contribute to the goal of bringing Raspberry magazine to print and allowing Red Press Society to bring more programs and events to the community. Currently we publish our magazine online, but we want to bring you a print magazine in the future. We want you to be able to find culture wherever you are, while saving you data and giving you a screen break.

As a project of Red Press Society, a non-profit , Raspberry publishes reviews, event coverage, interviews, and feature articles on what shapes the everyday life and cultural experience of Valley residents. We also publish original art and writing on a quarterly basis by local established and emerging creators.

We want to know who we’re living among, and appreciate the creative spirit of our community.
